Community Guidelines
The purpose of the PETE&C Ning is to create an atmosphere of learning, networking, and educational exploration that extends beyond the PETE&C Conference. Modeled after the NECCning guidelines, the following are the fundamental rules for participating in the PETE&C Ning. The PETE&C Social Networking Committee reserves the right to remove any content or to ban any participant who does not follow the spirit of these community guidelines

Information about the future of the PETE&C 2009 Ning
Dear Members,
Recently you received an email urging you to join the 2010 Ning for our conference and we heard feedback from you. Many of you spoke out about the great connections that were created in 2009. You wanted to be able to access content year after year and continue to make new connections. Some of you pointed out that Nings are a social community, not just a conference website. We couldn't agree more.
Over the next weeks we are going to rename the 2009 Ning to reflect the ongoing social network we've created. We have cancelled the plans to create a new Ning for 2010 and will instead create a new Forum for 2010 participants within this Ning you've already invested your time and friendships. We've reopened the 2009 Ning for new memberships - please share the information with colleagues that you think might attend this February and future conferences. This is YOUR Ning.
PETE&C has also added two "Ningmasters", Kristin Hokanson and Chris Champion. Both are on the board of PETE&C's partner organization PAECT, and both are affiliated with the Program Committee for PETE&C. They (we) are excited to create a real network of educators who love technology.
So for now: the 2009 Ning is yours - when it is renamed, it will still work just as it does today, just with a new web address (the old web address will work too). We apologize for sending you so many communications in such a short time, but we wanted to make this right and we didn't want to confuse anyone.
